The video gaming industry is developing at a very high speed. Every year, many
games are produced by companies. A lot of them have scenes of violence with a
significant amount of blood and death. There is an opinion that video games have a
bad influence on people.
To start with, I want to share my experience of playing video games. The first
gaming device I received in my childhood was from my parents. It was an 8-bit
gaming device. Since then, I had to start learning the English language to
understand all the text labels that were used in the games. As a result, my skills
started to improve every day, and my grades in English lessons became better
because of it.
At the same time, there are examples of people who try to emulate the behavior of
their favorite game characters, and sometimes these characters have negative
traits. This can be problematic.
In conclusion, I want to say that many politicians and other individuals unjustly
blame video games for unusual situations where people commit murder. However, this
is not true in most cases. Most of the time, individuals with mental health issues
have troubles in their families...
