Document Driven DSS
Uses keywords to access structured and
unstructured information from both internal and
external databases.
Structured – highly organized, readily accessible & stored
in relational databases (Convedo.com, n.d.) data in
standardized tabular format for easy storage (IBM, n.d.).
Unstructured – informational asset of other forms not
housed in relational database (Convedo.com, n.d.) such
as social media content, web analytics, email
communications, digital memos, chat logs, video files,
audio files etc with no pre-defined data format (IBM, n.d.).
