The Science Method Te c Not ● ● ● ● ● This social-emotional lesson (SEL) was created to ease students back into a new semester or school-year. It could also be used as a lesson in a study skills class to show students the action steps required to create healthy habits and routines. The accompanied presentation was designed to keep pace during the lesson and provide examples for students. Some slides have examples and some sentence starters to model for students. This handout could either be (1) printed for each student or (2) posted to your LMS and done digitally. If printing handouts, it would be fun to ask students to bring in magazines, pictures, alphabet letters, etc. for the vision boards. The vision boards could then be displayed in the classroom. This lesson was inspired by the self-improvement book, Atomic Habits by James Clear. Enjoy!
