The increase in overall enrollment at Calamba NCHS illustrated above successfully
demonstrates how the school's initiatives and programs were carried out efficiently with the
assistance of parents and stakeholders, utilizing government organizations, particularly DSWD
through the 4Ps Program, and enabling students to reasonably continue or return to school.
However, due to the construction of two (2) integrated schools three years ago and
subsequently increase in student enrollment in Grades 7-9, Calamba NCHS’s enrollment for
Grades 7-8 was unstable and primarily falling. Currently, the school is facing a challenge to either
maintain or significantly expand enrollment. Moreover, three (3) currently operating private
schools are also competing for students. Additionally, the decline in enrollment in Grades 7-8 has
an impact on the enrollment for the previous three school years, therefore this is a problem that
requires a deliberate approach.
2. Health and Nutritional Status
Of the 1,683 learners for BOSY 2022-2023, only 81.16% has normal health and nutritional
