An Old-Growth forest only makes up 22% of forests and are untouched for 200+ years.
They are made up of a lot of different, specialized species.
3.What are some threats that national parks face? List 5 solutions to protect nationals
parks?
Some threats are human activities such as logging, mining, and poaching. Invasive
species also pose a threat.
Some solutions are to dedicate more money to parks, raise entry fees, limit visitors,
dedicate more land and protect hotspots, enable locals to be stewards and make
income, work on restoration, and work on rehabilitation of ecosystems.
