What are your thoughts about educational planning? Educational planning is like a lesson plan but broader and more people are involved. Because this is a plan which the whole school is involved. And each member of the organization must perform their roles properly in order to have an effective and systematic implementation of the mandates and plans. 2. What is school mapping? Explain its importance. School mapping activity helps to identify the best location of schools so that more number of children can be benefited from the same level of investment. This helps to equalize educational opportunities through effective distribution and redistribution of educational facilities in new and existing schools. School mapping aims to align the supply and demand for education by considering the existing situation alongside the resources available and the estimate of future needs 3. What is human resource development in school? The function of human resource management in education includes staff maintenance, staff relations,staff development, procurement of staff and job performance reward. The challenges of human resource management include poor working condition, problem of staffing, funding, incessant transfer of teacher among others. 4. Discuss briefly the components of educational planning. The 8 components of Educational Planning are the: 1. Educational Status and Headcount which based on the realistic headcount of the personnel and students in a school. 2. Supply and Demand of Teachers - It is a way of securing the future provision of teachers of desired QUALITIES and in desired QUANTITIES to meet the resources available for employing them. 3. Educational Financing - it is the budget which the school use for the improvement of the environment. 4. School building - A school facility is much more than a passive container of the educational process. Rather, it is an integral part of the conditions of learning. 5. CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT - Curriculum is the lessons and academic content taught in a school or in a specific course or program 6. EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS - Also known as the TLM (TeachingLearning Material) is defined as the resources (whether human or non human; animate or inanimate) that the teacher will use to help achieve the learning goal or objectives 7. EXPANSION MODELS - Educational Expansion is the increase in enrollment rates and the extensiveness of the educational system which we belong to. 8. LEGAL BASES - There are such things as educational laws that protect both students and educators. As such, legal protection is also an expenditure to think about. Laws also dictate work hours, hourly wages, licensing and workman's compensation among many other things. 5. Explain Strategic Management Cycle. The strategic management approach entails more than just following a set of guidelines. It's a way of looking at business from a philosophical standpoint. Upper management must first plan strategically, then put that strategy into action. When everyone in the company understands the strategy, the strategic management process works best.
