I am applying for the position of New Accounts Associate at Commonwealth Financial Network.
I’m excited by the prospect of working with you and contributing to a diverse community of
financial advisors. I’m confident in my abilities to provide Commonwealth Financial Network

mission.
For the past eight years, I have worked with children ranging from four to seventeen as the lead
representative of the Imperial Valley Soccer Association’s Club for San Diego’s Presidio League.
My responsibilities have included educating players in the dynamics of soccer and an athlete’s
mindset including compassion, leadership and self-motivation; developing and maintaining
league relationships, and making presentations. Working with children with a range of
capacities and collaborating with other league board members has enhanced my
communication skills, and my ability to personalize my approach to education, maintain
controlled environments, build strong relationships and implement hands on activities.
While a Scholar Student Athlete at San Diego State University I received my Bachelors of
Science in Public Health with a minor in Biology. In addition to my studies, I spent more than
thirty hours a week at Crew practice, in meets, training, team meetings, community service and
team traveling. As a Scholar Student Athlete I developed lifelong skills including having a
positive attitude, being goal oriented, self-motivation, confidence, team-work, discipline,
commitment, and leadership.
After graduating in 2017, I have worked as a Nursing Assistant for the Allcare Company. I
focused on providing elderly, disabled, handicap, hospice patients and veterans with the services
they need in order to optimize their everyday quality of life. My experience with this company
has enhanced my supervisory skills, ability to implement plans, and the commitment to treating
others with dignity and respect. This year, interested in pursuing my interest in education, I have
worked as a substitute teacher for San Diego City Schools. This work has led me to my interest
in your position at Francis Parker School.
I’m prepared to be a passionate and dedicated new accounts associate at Commonwealth
