How to analyze an extract?
Speaking Task
1. Read “The Hate U Give” by Angie Thomas in Kognity
Topic 1 Subtopic 1.1.6
2. Prepare the notes you will be using for your oral
presentation. Please refer to the Activity Instructions.
3. Record yourself discussing the literary extract.
a. Your discussion should run for 3-4 minutes.
b. Make sure that your face is seen, and your voice is
loud and clear.
c. Reading your answer (script) is not allowed.
4. Submit your video in mp4 format in the Managebac.
5. Deadline is on: August 7.
