Developed for providing a stylish but affordable power solution, the Link
power module has two apertures which can individually house country
specific AC Power Sockets or combination USB A & C port. The USB A port
features a system which allows USB connection in two orientations, the USB C
port provides smart power delivery. Both are removable and replaceable. A
maximum 25W output and Intelligent Device Recognition, Link is able to fast
charge USB devices at rates comparable to or faster than most OEM chargers.
This fast charging has been achieved through the introduction of USB Power
Delivery and QUALCOMM QC 3.0. The charging is optimised with class leading
efficiency of up to 90%, thereby minimising power wasted as heat and
reducing operating costs.

The advanced USB charger circuitry has “Level 5” standby power efficiency
and includes protection against both input and output current overload and
short circuits and is fully certified to the latest International safety and EMC
standards.

The innovative replaceable USB charging socket module enables quick, on site
replacement, should a USB connector be damaged by incorrect use, vandalism
or simply wear out through heavy use etc; thereby avoiding the cost and
inconvenience of having to return complete Link units to Zoeftig for repair.

Constructed primarily of high-strength, flame retardant Polycarbonate and
certified components with proven reliability, Link is not only safe but also able
to withstand 24/7 use in an airport environment. The body is available in black
or white and the round socket facias are available in black or grey.

Up to 8 Link units (Zoeftig recommend a maximum of 6 where 2x AC sockets
per link module have been specified) can be interconnected and supplied
from a single power cord connected to a typical 16amp mains circuit. Optional
overcurrent and RCD protection can be supplied e.g. to meet local electrical
requirements in the country of installation.
