You must order at least one appetizer, one main course, and one dessert (for
a total 100 points).

Appetizers, choose one (30 points each)
 Write a poem or song about ecology
 Create a crossword puzzle (10 up, 10 down) using
Ecology terms
 Make a flip book showing the types of ecosystems
Main Course, choose one (40 points each)

Demonstrate your understanding of ecology with an
experiment (write-up must include hypothesis, materials, procedure, and
results)
Create a children’s book with story and colored
pictures about ecology (pictures and story must be your own work)
 Create an Ecology board game with rules and pieces

(must have at least 10 “fact” cards)
 Pretend you are an Ecologist. Write a scientific paper
to other scientists explaining the local habitat. (Must
include an example food web, climate and soil types, as well as local water
sources.)

Design an Ecology Awareness T-shirt (front and back must have 3
images/illustrations and 2 quotes referring to an environmental concern) You can draw or use

Dessert, choose one (30 points)
 Draw a cartoon that uses humor about ecology
 Find a news article within the past month about recent
ecology, climate, or plant/ animal in their natural
habitat. Summarize the news article, and answer
where, when, what happened, and why in complete
sentences.
 Create a mural or collage about ecology (google slides
or doc)
