Favorite Character
From chapters 9 to 10 I liked Mr.Murry, who was one of the bravest characters from my point of view.
Mr.Murry is Meg’s father and a physicist who used to work for a top-secret government agency where he
did experiments about traveling through space and time in the fifth dimension.
Events where Mr.Murry Interacted

In trying to tesser to Mars by traveling through the tesseract, Mr.Murry was captured and
imprisoned on the dark planet of Camazotz. When the story began, no one knew where he was for
over a year.

When Meg rushed to her father in the column chamber, she tried to get inside the cell but her father
cannot see her. Then Meg used Mrs. Who’s spectacles by putting them over her eyes, after that she
successfully gets through to her father and Mr.Murry was overjoyed by Meg’s arrival. Later on, he
used the same spectacles and carry Meg in his arm, and escaped the prison.

When Meg and Calvin were fighting with IT and some point it seemed that a large living brain was
going to beat them with its Rhythmic Control. Then Mr.Murry cheered up Calvin and Meg that
they shouldn’t give in to IT’s Rhythmic control.

When Meg yelled at her father for his careless activities for all this year. Then Mr. Murry explained
to Meg that he is just a simple and weak human being and not a miracle worker.
