SMART Analysis Specific The goal that I want to achieve in this semester is to train and develop communication skills, and decision making skills within 1 semester. Measurable In achieving the goal of developing communication skills and decision making, measurements were made which can be seen from myself, namely in the aspect of developing communication skills seen from how fluently I am able to speak in public without feeling nervous and with the right intonation. For decision making skills, it can be measured from the decisions I make whether they are right and there are no regrets after the decision (Ogbeiwi, 2017). Achievable This self-development can be achieved because I have had these two abilities a long time ago, the ability to make good decisions is a must-have. Because the decisions you make concern the goals of the company (Kaplan, 2022). I have mastered 4 very important components in communication skills namely Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing (Indeed, n.d.). So that self-development will be easy for me to develop again. Relevant Communications skills are one of the basic developments that I must have because communication skills are very important because they can maintain relationships between one individual and another, so that a job related to company goals will be easy to complete (Mahajan, n.d.). Decision making or decision making is one of the important things in every business process. Because if the company makes the wrong decision, the results will have a negative impact on business growth and continuity (Siebert, 2021). Time Bound To achieve my goal of developing communication skills and decision making skills, I will update my skills every day and will be achieved within 1 semester. Questions 1. These skills are very important for my professional development, Communication skills are needed to speak properly with various characters of people while maintaining good eye contact, demonstrating a variety of vocabulary and adapting our language to the audience, listening effectively, expressing ideas appropriately, write clearly and concisely, and work well in groups. 2. I have trained this ability since a long time ago 3. The way to practice my communication skills is to communicate clearly and concisely, pay attention to facial expressions, gestures and body language, pay attention to intonation when speaking, practice active listening and train emotional intelligence 4. The way to assess progress is to ask others for feedback regarding my communication skills as well as decision making skills. Managerial Skill 1. I am at ease with written and oral communication, including listening. 2. I handle stress well and seldom have time management problem 3. I have no trouble making decisions that affect me and/or others 4. I can identify, analyse and solve problems effectively 5. I am effective at getting others to perform at high levels 6. I delegate tasks to others to help them learn more and to involve them in activity at hand 7. I set goals and establish a long-term vision for everything I do, and can help others to do the same 8. I am keenly aware of my own strengths and weakness 9. I work well with groups and can help others develop into effective teams 10.
