Supporting the mandate of the national policy and the Division Research Management Guidelines (Division Memorandum No. 160 s. 2023), it is vital that teachers and non-teaching staff should be guided and trained in the production of basic education research to ensure the quality of the produced research. 2. With this, the RATE (Research Association of Tanza Educators) and MRC (Municipal Research Committee) will conduct Tanza Research Training and Colloquium of Research Proposals on July 7 - 9, 2023, from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. 3. Zurbano MCARE President Republic of the Philippines Department of Education REGION IV-A SCHOOLS DIVISION OFFICE OF CAVITE PROVINCE District of Tanza Tanza Research Training and Colloquium of Research Proposals July 7 - 9, 2023 Research Capability Training and Colloquium Guidelines 1. The three-day capability training will consist of four lectures focusing on research data gathering, and a colloquium of research proposals. 2. Researchers who submitted research proposals to the 8th Cycle of Basic Education Research Fund (BERF) are all required to attend the lecture and participate in the research colloquium. Furthermore, studies proposed in the previous school year but have not been submitted to the 8th BERF Cycle are not allowed to join. 3. Attendance at the three-day lecture and presentation is a must to complete the required hours for the certificate of participation. Attendance at the parallel sessions is also encouraged. There are nine (9) virtual rooms on day 1 and five (5) virtual rooms on day 2 where an audience (presenters and non-presenters) can be chosen to join in. See the schedule for parallel sessions. 4. All submitted research proposals will be presented in parallel sessions. All presenters are requested to submit their research proposal on or before July 4, 2023, through https://tinyurl.com/TanzaColloquiumProposal2023 and check their room assignments and schedule at https://tinyurl.com/TanzaColloquiumSchedule. 5. Each presenter should prepare a five-to-seven-minute presentation. After the presentation, there will be feedback and technical assistance from the panel members. 6.
