Insight
Generally, Jan and Feb are bearish months and historically the market is down. BTC
will be down, possibly around 14,000 to 15,000. Currently, we see BTC around 21,000.
Buy ETH @ 1220. Currently, we see ETH around 1548.
How do you transfer USDT from Kucoin to Tokenize?
My Mentor Kelvin Kong’s routine
1. Look at Market sentiments, bullish or bearish
2. He will never open more than 2 positions
Rules
1.
2.
3.
4.
Never risk more than 5% of portfolio for each trade
Do not open more than 2 positions
Always use isolated margin.
Always set stop loss. Stop loss is always set below support or previous low
When Funding Rate (calculated every 8 hours) is negative, short traders pay long
traders and vice versa. If markets are dropping more, funding rate will get more
negative.
What is Initial Margin?
Initial Margin is the amount required to open a leveraged position, and serves as
collateral for the trade. For example, with a 10x leverage, you could buy 1000 BNB with
an initial margin of 100 BNB, which would be 10% of the total order value.
Buy is a Science and Selling is an Art
How to Enter a Position?
1. Look at the charts and decide whether to long or short by identifying key levels
2. Set conditional orders below key level to short or above key level to long. If you
want to enter immediately, use a limit order. (Never use a Market order) Refer
to page 95-96 of Advanced TA Workshop v1.1.pdf how to set conditional
orders found in discord
3. To enter a long position, RSI must be oversold with MACD bullish and vice
versa (RSI overbought and MACD bearish
4. Refer to Trading View Set up to filter opportunities (on Page 7)
5. Predetermine your stop loss and liquidation price using the liquidation price
calculator
6. Make sure stop loss is below / at support or at previous low
7. Make sure amount to lose is 5% of account size per trade i.e. if your account
size is $1000, your stop loss amount is $50
8. For a upward trend coin, you can set limit orders in the retracement zone
between 21 EMA and EMA 50 on the 4 hr chart (same stop loss rules applies,
refer to point 4)
What is the Retracement Zone?
Between 21 EMA and 50 EMA on the 4 hr chart
How to Protect Profit and Reduce Risk?
1. Moving Stop Loss to Entry (Zero Risk)
2. Selling to get your initial capital and run on House Money
3. Max Risk or draw down on 1 position should not be 5% of your account size
How to take Profit?
1.
2.
3.
4.
Identify key levels to take profit, based on resistance
Set multiple Take Profit Targets
Identify profit target according to your risk profile, i.e. 10%, 20%, 30%
Always Take Profit. Do not hold onto a single position for too long as there
will be pumps and dumps
How to do Technical Analysis
1.
2.
3.
4.
Zoom out to monthly chart
Zoom in to daily chart, 4 hr and 1 hr
Identify key supports and resistance, touching at least 3 points
TA analysis will break when there is a huge economic event or narrative.
Kelvin and Resh will give a heads up whether to close position early or not
to enter
Insight
10 EMA is a very powerful indicator used for scalping. When candle sticks are above 10
EMA, it is a strong support. It should not break the 10 EMA for short term moves
Daily Income Strategy
Longing
1. View 4 hour time frame
2. Stoch RSI below 20 and point up
3. At or near support of 3EMA
Shorting
1.
2.
3.
4.
View 4 hour time frame
Stoch RSI below 80 and point down
At or near resistance of 3EMA
Works well for coins that have pumped double digit gains for the day i.e.
10%, 20% etc. Use the filter Top Gainers on trading view to find these coins
(this shorting strategy is more effective in a bear market but now not so as
the market is slightly bullish since Jan 2023)
Why do we use 4 hr charts?
Traders in the cryptocurrency market often rely on 4-hour charts to assess volatility,
as shorter timeframes such as 15 minutes, 1 minute, and 1 hour tend to have more
fluctuations. However, it is also possible to use daily charts to gain insight into overall
price trends.
Setting Up Your Screeners on Trading View
How to set it up, follow the screen below
Long Screener
Configure these settings and save
Short Screener
Configure these settings and save
Liquidation Price
For a long position, stop loss > liquidation price and vice versa for a short position,
stop loss < liquidation price
Liquidation price is calculated based on your leverage, entry position and quantity
bought
Resh will keep leverage at 10x always. You should too.
If taking too high a margin makes the liquidation price near the entry price, bybit
would not fill the order
The difference between a cross margin and isolated margin is that cross margin
applies across the portfolio which will result in a higher liquidation price. Isolated
margin only applies to the asset itself. Always set a stop loss and keep leverage
isolated for purpose of risk management
A liquidation price calculator
RULES OF ENGAGEMENT
Risk / Reward
To be profitable, R/R 1.5 times (i.e. when you lose 100, you should win 150)
Law of Large Numbers
You need to have 100 trades to determine if you are good enough at trading
Max Loss
Should not be more than 5% of whole account
Diversify
Have a mixture of bullish and bearish trades
Degen Trades
In the crypto world, degen means Risky. Utilise Sub accounts under ByBit for Degen
trades
How to calculate targeted profit?
Using a $500 USDT cost order with a 10X leverage, your total order value is $5000
USDT. To profit $100 USDT, you just need a 2% price movement.
PS: A bigger account gives you the edge to reduce risk. With the above example, you
need a 2% move to profit a $100. However, if it is a $10 USDT cost order with a 10X
leverage and a total order value of $100 USDT, you need a 100% price movement to
profit the same $100.

What to do after you join the community?
1. Join discord and watch all trainings (Advanced TA, Bybit training, Kucoin
training) in discord
2. Set up your screeners on Page 6
3. Tune into all live trading calls every Sunday at 9pm
4. Plan your crypto trades for the week right after the call
PS: Trading crypto futures is hard by your own. Let’s trade as a community
What is your Goal?
1. Increase your account by 10% per week based on 10x leverage
2. Winning trades helps in trading psychology. Don’t plan to lose and follow your
rules of engagement
3. Don’t focus on P&L. Focus on Win Rate (stack at least 70%)
4. Newbies should work on perfecting longing first (Execute 10 trades and have 7
trades winning to know that you have a working strategy)
Technical Analysis
1. Allocate 4 hours for conducting analysis and 1 hour to validate the analysis
using the chart.
2. The presence of multiple bullish and bearish candlestick patterns suggests
holding onto the trade.
3. When the 2nd candle is 3 or 4 times the size of the previous candle (green or
red), it indicates a potential pump or dump. It is advisable not to chase the
trade and leave it as it is.
4. If subsequent candles are shorter than the initial candle (bullish or bearish), it
indicates a decrease in momentum and a potential end to the trend.
5. When there is indecision in the market, it is important to seek confirmation
before making a decision.
6. Bear flags and bull flags frequently appear in a fast-moving market
environment, and they are validated by 5 touch points, as well as support and
resistance levels. The exit length should be the same as the entry length,
although this is not completely fool proof.
7. The crossing of the 10-day exponential moving average (EMA) above or below
the 21-day EMA serves as the first warning sign of a trend reversal.
8. The crossing of the 10-day/21-day EMA above or below the 50-day EMA
indicates a strong signal of a trend reversal.
9. The crossing of the 10-day/21-day/50-day EMA above or below the 200-day
EMA signifies a trend reversal.
10. The retracement zone functions as a dynamic support zone in an uptrend and
is used in conjunction with the Stochastic Relative Strength Index (RSI).
11. The 200-day EMA is a highly significant level of dynamic support and
resistance.
12. The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) is employed to identify
uptrends or downtrends. Dark colours on the MACD indicate speed and may
lead to the formation of large candles.
13. A green hammer candlestick pattern is stronger than a red hammer, although
both indicate bullishness.
14. When examining the Relative Strength Index (RSI), focus on the blue line.
15. The stop loss (SL) should be set at the previous swing low.
16. Kelvin prefers clear retracement zones and avoids overlapping EMA zones.
17. How to set Stop Loss for intermediate trading.
18. Trade when there are MACD crossovers.
19. When the MACD crosses the zero line, it signifies a trend reversal.
20. The expected loss is the most critical number to consider in your trading
platform.
21. Trade when MACD got cross overs
22. When MACD crosses 0 line, it indicates a trend reversal
23. The most important number in bybit is the expected loss
Live Trade Calls
Kelvin will provide live trade calls every Sunday, and it is advised to have a maximum
of two open positions at any given time. If you wish to open a new position, please
close an existing position to maintain a limit of two active positions.

Key Lessons Learnt:
1. Kelvin identifies key levels for both short and long positions. However, it's
important to note that a long key level does not guarantee an upward
movement. It could result in an upward movement, a bounce, or even a
breakdown, depending on the strength of the signal. It's essential to be
cautious of false breakouts.
2. When the stochastic RSI hovers around the middle range (around 50), it is
advisable to refrain from taking any immediate action.
3. A bearish signal is indicated when the MACD falls below the 0 line.
4. Confirmation of direction occurs when there is a notable increase in volume.
5. Instead of assuming the direction of the market, rely on the charts to reveal the
story. Keeping the analysis simple can be beneficial.
6. Finding the right balance between entry points, setting appropriate stop
losses, and using leverage is crucial in trading.

2. Waiting for the Stochastic Relative Strength Index (Stoch RSI) to surpass 50
may indicate a late entry for a long position. Adhere to established rules.
3. When assuming a 5% risk, using 10X leverage translates to a 50% risk exposure.

Key Lessons Learnt:
1. Consistently trade in the same manner until reaching a tipping point where you
understand where to set stop loss and entry points.
2. Increasing position size leads to tighter stop losses and potentially higher
leverage.
3. When drawing trendlines, use regular volume data as high volumes can be
influenced by price manipulation.
4. Focus on trading a select few coins rather than attempting to trade all available
options.
5. Visualizing trades by drawing them on paper is a beneficial practice.
6. Before analysing the chart and deciding whether to short or long, it is essential
to draw trendlines and identify support levels.
7. Once the price approaches or reaches our targeted zones, we can begin

Live Trading on 16 Jan 2023
Key Lessons Learnt:
1. Capitalize on potential crypto appreciation by investing in Metaverse coins
such as APE, GALA, MASK, etc., at their support levels.
2. Diversify your portfolio by allocating a portion to buy crypto assets/spots
versus futures, maintaining a ratio of 2:3.
3. Consider taking long positions in BTC/ETH futures at support levels without
implementing a stop loss to maximize potential upside.
4. Monitor the downtrend of the SPY (S&P 500 ETF) by observing the RSI (Relative
Strength Index) for overbought signals and a downward trend.
5. Identify potential short trade opportunities by focusing on the top gainers that
have experienced price increases of more than 10% within a 24-hour period.
6. EMA 10 (Exponential Moving Average) serves as a strong support level for
short-term trading. If the price breaks below EMA 10, it may decline towards
EMA 20, and if it breaks below EMA 20, it may further decline towards EMA 100.
7. Utilize conditional orders that rely on trigger prices to confirm a trend before
executing a buy order based on the desired price.
8. Limit orders are suitable for entering long or short positions in futures
contracts at a specific desired price.
9. Conduct a 1st block test with a $500 order value and $50 order cost, involving
10 trades in a block, aiming for a 50% winning rate and profitability. Consider
increasing the order value by 10% in the subsequent round of block testing.
Live Trading on 22 Jan 2023
Key Lessons Learnt:
1. Consider accumulating BTC and ETH ahead of the halving event in April 2024.
2. A 50% drop in price is classified as a dump, while a 10% decrease is considered
a retracement.
3. Look for long opportunities in APT when the price is within the retracement
zone between the 21 and 50 EMA.
4. If MAGIC is oversold and shows further downside potential, consider entering a
position when the price is around the 1 to 1.20 zone.
5. While you cannot alter your entry size and stop loss, you can adjust your
position sizing to ensure that your maximum loss remains limited to 5% of your
account size.

and it is recommended to simply observe without taking immediate action.
4. Utilize ladder-in techniques within the designated white zone, but be sure to
monitor the trades closely; otherwise, it is not advisable.
5. A price breaking the white trendline signifies a strong indication of a trend
reversal. Take note of this and consider examining the MACD (Moving Average
Convergence Divergence) for further analysis.
6. Dedicate 30 minutes before sleeping to review charts and stay updated.
7. Remember that the market follows your established rules.

Key Lessons Learnt:
1. Secure some profits before adjusting the stop loss to lock in guaranteed
profits.
2. Raise the stop loss to a higher low to maintain a position in the trade.
3. It is often easier to achieve a 1% gain using 10X leverage compared to aiming
for a 10% gain with 1X leverage.
4. Wait for the close of a candle to ensure confirmation before taking action.
5. Take profit or close a trade when you are unable to actively monitor its

1. When the RSI (Relative Strength Index) is in the middle range, it indicates a
neutral position, and the price can move in either direction. It is advisable to
wait for the close of the candle to gain better clarity. It is worth noting that
prices often tend to visit the RS flip zone.

Key Lessons Learnt:
1. How can we milk our trade? Implement a strategy that involves setting a series
of consecutive take profits (TPs) and adjusting the stop loss (SL) to the
previous TP level. For instance, when reaching TP1, set the SL at the TP 0. As the
trade progresses to TP2, adjust the SL to TP1, and continue this pattern for
subsequent TPs. This approach allows us to effectively "milk" the trade by
securing profits and minimizing risk along the way.

2 rules and 4 steps to long a trade
1. Bounce of support or trendline
2. Find a bullish candle stick pattern
Step 1 : Draw Trendline and support/resistance
Step 2: Print the candle stick pattern and paste in front of your PC, then identify them.
Draw on your trading view
Step 3: Identify the RSI if oversold or overbought (best scenario) or if its in blue zone
Step 4: Identify MACD for cross over and above 0
If step 1 to step 4, fulfil its MTL, just shoot but protect loss 5% of your account
