Exponents
To type an exponent, use the
button next to the 7.
For example,
If I want to type 42

You can also use the
button if you are raising a number
to the 2nd power, or squaring it.
So I could also type
Square Roots
To type a square root, use the
button and the

To find √25

For imperfect squares like √7, you will need one more button to
change your answer to a decimal.

Use the arrow buttons on the top right to get out from under the
square root before you type a longer equation.
Negatives
To type a negative, use the
button next to the decimal.

Do not use the minus button! You will just get an error.
Fractions
