WARM UP - 10 MINUTES - 6:40
Light Jog, Layup Skips, High Kick Toe Touches
Skip, Butt kicks, Karoake Shuffle, Power Skips
Skip from one line to a designated point.
Hop Like a Bunny - Kneeling Tuck Jumps
Have kids spread out on a line and have them hop down to
one line and back like a bunny.
PLAYER DRILLS - 15 MINUTES 7:10
2 Cone Cuff
Crazy 8
Linear In and Out
Fake the Snake In and out
180 Jumps 3 sets of 8x
Pick and Roll
Split Jumps - 3 sets of 12x
Stop and Pop
Defensive slide
Demonstrate how to do a proper defensive slide (knees
bent, direction of feet, bottom down, hands up, etc.). Then
with kids facing you, have them mirror your defensive slide.
Stretch
Quad Strech
Groin Stretch
Left/Right Arm (Arm Circles)
Cross legs - Touch Toes (5x Ea)
SHOOTING - 10 MINUTES 6:50
2-3 To a Basket
Kids stand directly under the basket practicing proper shooting
technique
How to get to open shot
BALL HANDLING - 15 MINUTES 7:25
Right/Left Hand
Power Dribbles Right/Left
Down & Back
Around the Waist/Head/Ankles
Cross Over
Scissors (Switch Legs)/Behind The back
Cross & Between Legs
Tennis Ball
Pass the ball, pick away, go through, set screens and roll!
Defense Zone - 5 Minutes 6:55
First Step is communication. First Defender yells "I got ball".
Guard will take two dribbles and pass. Other Elbow defender jumps.
Defenders that are not guarding ball need to shift back to their zone.

REBOUNDING - 5 MINUTES
Everyone plays
Coach shoots the ball and the first rebounder is out and jogs 1
lap. 2nd rebounder is out and jogs 2 laps. Etc. Focus on boxing
out technique.
