guidelines on how we structure our SEL classes
 Each class should only cover one objective.
 Inclusiveness: make sure you try to include everyone in your comments or concepts.
 Remember the age group and their characteristics and limitations.
 Always be prepared, preferably with clearly defined individual role.
 It is preferred to use Powerpoint presentation, including animation and any other
engaging elements you can think of.
 Class structure should follow the below:
o Goal
o Activity
o Materials needed (if required)
o Discussion
o Reflection/endingng (Keep it simple pls)
 Set time estimates for every segment of the class and try to follow it as much as
possible.
 It may be preferable to start every class with breathing exercises (Mindfulness) for a few
minutes.
 Remember to always be positive and portray excitement, to motivate the students and
keep them engaged.
