Doctors Burnout, Mindfulness, Meditation & Wellbeing
Workshop for Busy Clinicians
Out line:
 Early recognition and remediation are the key in dealing with
the Doctor’s burnout. There may be organizational factors
within the NHS which are hard to address and can impact
personal resilience. There are, however, some personal
protective steps you can take that are within your control.
 Mindfulness, Meditation & Wellbeing are helpful in
providing protective steps.
Objectives:
 Understand three dimensions of burnout, the link between
stress, anxiety and burnout and the interventions at the individual
level.
 Have a clear understanding of Mindfulness and its benefits.
 Develop practice of Meditation to reinforce mindfulness.
 Understand the role of meditation & mindfulness in the
management of stress.
 Understand the concept of GROWTH model of wellbeing and
personal development and its effect on your clinical performance.

Mr. Satish Chadha is presently working as Clinical Lead for the Diabetic
Eye Screening program in Northampton shire County. Besides his
ophthalmology skills, Mr. Chadha has an interest in NLP, Hypnosis, CBT
(Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Wellbeing and personal development.
Addressing his interest, he completed courses on personal
development from Anthony Robbin’s Mastery University (USA). He has
also been an active certified Master practitioner and INLPTA certified
NLP trainer regularly conducting workshops across the Northampton
shire County in UK and in India. Mr. Chadha has acquired CBT skills
through courses from the University of Birmingham. He has acquired
Diploma in Clinical hypnosis and is also a certified instructor of
hypnosis by the American Board of Hypnotherapy. He is also a
professionally trained Mentor in health care organizations. He is also a
certified Mindfulness teacher and certified Meditation coach.
