The following document explains the mapping of the old customizing table to the new customizing table. Custom coding accessing the following fields of table T169P has to be adopted: XPLCU KURST CTHW KDHW CTML1 KDML1 CTML2 KDML2 New solution based on FMLC_ERD table ERD Method ERD Calculation Logic Assumed Exchange Rate Type Posting of nonallocated Exchange Rate Differences Mapping to existing solution based on T169P table Indicator: Treatment of Treatment of Exchange Rate Exchange Rate Diffs. in ML Differences Currency (T169P-XPLCU) (T169P-CTML*) Rate at Invoice Receipt Rate at Goods Receipt Exchange rate between GR and IR No input allowed Post as Exchange rate Exchange Rate differences Differences between GR and IR (= SPACE) *ERDs of Planned Delivery Costs (S-Price) are posted as PRD Allocate Exchange Rate Differences in Inventory/Usage (= SPACE) No input allowed Post as Price Differences No exchange rate differences, only price differences (= N) Allocate Exchange Rate Differences in Inventory/Usage (= SPACE) Exchange rate between IR and assumed exchange rate Input allowed Post as Exch. rate Exchange Rate differences Differences between IR and assumed exch. Exchange rate differences with standard price materials (including planned delivery costs) are allocated to inventory in actual costing period-end closing. Exchange rate differences for stock shortages with moving average price materials are not allocated to inventory. Rate at Goods Receipt Exchange rate differences for standard price materials, moving average price materials and account-assigned orders (including planned delivery costs) are not allocated to inventory/consumption. The conversion from existing entries in the old table to the new table is done automatically. After conversion, the new customizing could look as following depending on the settings of the old table: Relevant fields of table FMLC_ERD for the example above: Field Data element BUKRS CURRENCY_TYPE BUKRS FINS_PLAIN_CURTYPE Short description Company Code Plain Currency Type (Without Valuation Aspects) ERD_METHOD FML_ERD_METHOD Exchange Rate Differences: Method ERD_CALCULATION_LOGIC FML_ERD_CALCULATION_LOGIC Exchange Rate Differences: Calculation Logic ASSUMED_EX_RATE_TYPE FML_ERD_ASSUMED_EX_RATE_TYPE Exchange Rate Differences: Assumed Exchange Rate Type POSTING_NON_ALLOCATED_ERD FML_ERD_POST_NON_ALLOCATED_ERD Exchange Rate Differences: Posting of non-allocated ERD
