Rules and Regulations for Internship: 1)Opportunities for 6-12 months M.Tech. internships are published and taken forward by TPC with the condition that the students will apply and take up the internships with the consent of their supervisors. No student is allowed to appear or continue with the internship process without consent from their supervisor. 2) Upon being selected for an internship, the student is required to accept the internship offer within the specified time frame. Failure to accept the offer may result in consequences, including being debarred from participating in the subsequent placement session. The decision regarding the consequences of not accepting the internship offer will be determined by the Professor In charge, Training and Placement Officer, and the TPC Head Coordinator. The length of the debarment period may vary, ranging from a few weeks to a full year, based on their decision. 3) At any stage, if the consent from the supervisor is withdrawn the student will have to intimate TPC at the earliest and withdraw from the internship. Students are expected to apply only to those companies/opportunities where the work is aligned with their degree. This should also be clarified during your interview or interactions with the company. 4) It is the responsibility of the student to secure academic leave before you join for the internship and to follow the terms and conditions stipulated by the academic section in this regard. TPC will not issue the noobjection certificate unless academic leave is approved. All academic criteria set by the academic section and respective departments are to be fulfilled by the students without exception. 5) TPC does not allow recruiters to demand additional certifications or early on-boarding of candidates for both internships and FTEs , other than those already mentioned in the JAF shared during registration. Hence, those students who receive any communications from the recruiters assigning work beyond their offer conditions or demanding additional certifications or tests to be completed are requested to intimate such events at the earliest. Similarly, no company/recruiter is allowed to have an early/virtual on-boarding of candidates during the academic session or before the dates approved by TPC. Any such requests received by students need to be intimated to the TPC at the earliest, without delay, so that the issue may be resolved with the company/recruiter. I hereby acknowledge that I have thoroughly read and understood the rules and regulations outlined in the Terms and Conditions for Student Internship. I accept and agree to comply with all the terms and conditions stated therein. Manish Student’s Signature Date: 03/06/2023
