ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Dual Axis Sun-Tracker Fabrication & Implementation through Solar-Tracking Algorithm
• Developed a Sun-Tracking Algorithm which was bench-marked against NREL’s Solar Positioning
Algorithm with accuracy of ±0.25 in angle measurements (algorithm made open-source on GitHub)
• Implemented a closed-loop system for tracking with a PI controller applied for removing steady-state
errors and reducing the overshoot to less than 10%
• Designed algorithm and tracker executed in practice alongside a 1 MW solar park on campus
Distribution Transformer Design and Implementation
• Performed a numerical analysis, equivalent circuit testing, and fabrication of a 60000 VA, 11000 V to
220V distribution transformer for domestic usage
Machine Learning Based Blink Detection System
• Created a MATLAB based Machine Learning model after 4% data filtration and normalisation
• Detected blinks of a subject through voltage fluctuations in an EEG data-set with a 97% accuracy
