Imagine yourself alone, left on a planet where the possibility of existing life is zero. Believe it or not, but it is very common out here in the real life. And it is also the main premise of the movie "The Martian" where the main starring of the movie is left alone on the red planet alone. This is a very interesting
science fiction movie directed by Andy Weir based on the novel under the same name. The movie bases itself around how a human might be able to survive on a plant
with no life. Mark Watney the main character is strandered alone after being unable to leave the planet with his fellow astronauts. He who is limited with supplies
tries to find various ways the survive the planet until the rescue mission comes to get him. Matt Damon who plays the character Mark and has played the character very well capturing both the fear and the thriving nature of human to stay alive.
Damon's charismatic portyal adds depth and humor to the character, making it easy for the audience to root for him throughout the film. From all of his video logs,
it can be seen the ranges of emotions he passes through while trying to stay alive.
The Martian is a one of a kind movie, its story telling and animations are perfect. This movie is able to capture the beauty and the uglyness of the red planet with ease. This movie is not purely ficition. It also educates people about the space programs, their struggle and the scientific principles of space exploration.
This movie teaches us that we must keep on thriving, even in a grim situation help will alive. In the end, with the help of all the scientists, engineers on the Earth and the returning crew he was able to espace the planet. This shows the important relationship we need to have with eachother. It was not easy for him but it helped him grow as an individual. In conclusion, "The Martian" is a riveting and thought-provoking film that seamlessly combines science fiction, adventure, and human resilience.
