I am adding this additional resource as I feel that this
government resource gets forgotten or is unknown to a lot
of people.
The Job Corps was founded in 1964 and is a great resource
for individuals ages 16-24 seeking job training in array of
industries.
Students can earn a high school diploma or the equivalent,
and college credits. Additionally, they offer tuition-free
housing, meals, basic health care, a living allowance, and
career transition assistance.
