The form in which statistics are presented can highlight certain patterns and sometimes lead to misconceptions. Task Description A fifty-minute test in your normal Mathematics classroom. The assessment task will cover the following topic from the Cambridge textbook: - Chapter 8 Quadratic expressions and quadratic equations Chapter 5 Expressions, equations and linear relationships (Ex 5I and 5J only) Assessment Criteria A – Knowledge and Understanding Reminder of Academic Honesty Each student is reminded that all work submitted for assessment must be his own work, except where acknowledgment is made to the original author (using the correct referencing method) or where collaboration with another student is a mandated requirement of the task.
