ABOUT YOU POWERPOINT PROJECT
You will be using PowerPoint to create a presentation about yourself. As a minimum, you should
have the following included in your slides:
Completed
Elements to be Included
Slide 1: Title Slide
Project Title and your name
Slide 2: Information about you
In at least 3 bullets, tell birth date, where you were born, and
where you’ve lived (towns). Include a picture.
Slide 3: Family
Notes
Slide 4: Friends. Use at least 3 bullets. Insert a shape and
apply a style to it.
Slide 5: Interests. Use as many bullets as needed.
Decorate with 2 clip art and/or pictures to illustrate your
points.
Slide 6: Clubs/Activities/Sports
Include Smart Art with style effect on this slide.
Slide 7: Favorites
Decorate with at least one photo with a style effect.
Change background to a theme and colors of your choice.
The font you choose should be easy to read. You should also
have no more than two fonts used in the entire file.
Spelling should be accurate. Use Spell check (Right Click on
any wavy red underlines.)
No more than 6 bullets per slide, 6 words per bullet
Be careful in your choice of colors and fonts; your information should be attractive and yet easy to
read and understand. Move your text boxes and clipart images around to get the most visually
pleasing design. You are encouraged to use the “Notes” feature of PowerPoint so you don’t read
your slides when presenting it.
