SELECTION, ORGANIZATION, DEVELOPMENT, AND USE OF APPROPRIATE
TEACHING AND LEARNING RESOURCES INCLUDING ICT LIKE THE USE OF
ONLINE ASSESSMENT TOOLS AND PPT
OBJECTIVES:
1. To be able to advise, guide and assist the Pangasinan National High School TLE
teachers in the selection, organization, development, and use of appropriate
teaching and learning resources including ICT like the use of online assessment
tools to address specific goals.
2. To intensify SLAC sessions in PNHS TLE Department focusing on understanding
the context of making their weekly learning plan.
PROCEEDINGS:
 The session is started with a prayer and followed by the singing of the National
Anthem presented through video. The participants were energized by a short dance
simulation followed from a video.
 The demonstration lecture was taken by the Master Teacher. The speaker presented
the topic along with the Session Objectives.
 The speaker discussed how they can utilize the various modes of online assessment
tools in the school setting.
 The speaker also discussed weekly learning plan that reinforces a regular teaching
schedule and pattern that can keep class from becoming distracted and deviating
from the overall plan.
 After the discussion the participants share their own insights regarding the topic that
is presented.
 Essential questions were raised during the discussion and were addressed by the
speaker.
 The activity ended with inspiring thoughts and insights from the speaker.

Insights:

Making a weekly learning plan is essential for several reasons. It provides structure and
direction to your learning journey, helping you stay focused and motivated. With a learning
plan, you can prioritize what needs to be learned or practiced. This ensures that you focus
on the most important topics and avoid feeling overwhelming by trying to tackle everything
at once.

Selection and use of appropriate teaching and learning resources, including ICT, can
significantly enhance the learning experience for students. Utilizing ICT resources
prepares students for the digital world they will encounter in their future careers. Familiarity
with online tools and technology is a valuable skill in todays interconnected society.
Lessons Learned:

I have learned that making a weekly learning plan is a powerful tool that helps you set clear
goals, manage your time-effectively, and stay motivated on your learning journey. It
promotes consistency, adaptability, and lifelong learning, all of which contribute to personal
and professional growth.

I have learned that it is essential to ensure that the selected resources align with the
learning objectives, curriculum and the specific needs of the students. Additionally,
teachers should always evaluate the effectiveness of these resources through feedback
and assessment to make continuous improvement in their teaching process.
