What do fashion industries do to the earth? They create clothes. But they also create a
lot of pollution. They pollute the air, water, and the earth itself. I feel like we should start using
more efficient energy sources and less polluting material. We should use fibers instead of using
chemicals and killing the environment, people, and animals.
My first idea is we should stop killing animals. We should stop killing animals, such as
deer, chickens, and foxes. People use their skin and mix it with chemicals to make it smell
better, and then wear it on a coat or on pants. 1.7 million foxes, 6 million deer, and over 70
billion chickens are killed every year. If we at least lowered the death rate by 97%, we would
have a lot more animals than you think, and extinction would be rare to ever happen. This is
why we should stop killing animals for their skins.
My second idea is to stop the wet processing stage and to start using all dyes inst3ead,
or we could also start to reuse the water by cleansing the water or putting through an filter to get
the dyes out. We could also rind=se it in the water instead of tal=ikng it straight fro the river and
putting in a large bucket to take. One more idea is we could also take water from the oceans
and extract the salt from the water. 5.9 trillion liters of water is used every year for a single fabric
dyeing. In my opinion that is way too much. Take how much you need, not think you need.
My third idea is to stop wasting clothing and clothing material. People will throw away
clothing and clothing material if they have extras. They will also be dumped int9o the ocean by
fashion industries=s of they dont need them. We can help stop this by reusing materials and
recycling them we can also give materials off in auctions opr selling them if we have extras or
dont neeed them, studies prove that 92 million tons of clothing is wasted each year.
I feel like my favorite idea would be to stop wasting material, doing so could save us a lot
of pollution, and help the world thrive and continue to live. If we could try to do all of these
things, the world might continue to live a lot longer than it would live today.
