Introduction:
How you ever wondered how our private information can be accessed? Or have you ever wondered
if it is in the hands of those nations which are more digitally advanced. Well, surprisingly YES! It is
like that. Digital imperialism is a word that refers to dominance of those nations or organizations
that are developed than us. These nations are threat to our privacy, security, culture, religion and
apparently EVERYTHING!
The Negative aspects:

Digital imperialism is a threat to our privacy, threat in the sense that it can have access to
our those information that should remain only to us For Example, AI can have access
Security of our own state is in danger as those countries which are digitally advanced can
easily hack stuff
Our culture and religion Is the most closest thing to our heart and it is in danger too because
many people follow things from social media
Socially we have been affected by digital imperialism, we have stopped to connect with
those people who we know to connect with those who are strangers
We have kept in mind that there are always those countries that are above us and we don’t
even try to grow
Conclusion:
In conclusion, the literature review highlights the negative aspects of digital imperialism, shedding
light on the threats it poses to privacy, security, culture, religion, social connections, and personal
growth. It emphasizes how digital imperialism can infringe upon individuals' privacy by accessing and
utilizing their personal information. It also raises concerns about the security of nations, as digitally
advanced countries can exploit vulnerabilities and engage in hacking activities. Overall, the literature
review highlights the need for awareness, regulation, and efforts to mitigate the negative
consequences of digital imperialism.
