Contractor shall take into consideration that all – direct and
indirect works and expenses required for the completion of the
coming items are included in the uint price.
Prices for Excavation item shall include the removal of any
buried structure not to be part of the proposed construction,
including transport of excavated, surplus material and buried
structure (not to be part of the proposed construction) to a
location approved by the engineer or his representative
outside the site, workmanship and any where else, needed, all
according to drawings, specifications, conditions and directed
instructions by the Engineer or his representative.
Quantities of Excavation shall be measured according to the
elements' dimensions mentioned in the drawings
Suitable Clean sand or kurkar soil material should be used
for back-filling selected from the approval excavated soil or
imported.
All works shall be carried out according to specification,
condition, drawing and as directed by the engineer.
The contractor must submit reports for the exisiting activities and
materials on the project site supported with photographs before
work start and take approval to start the work.
Cleaning and leveling around the buildings according to the
accompanied drawings as far as the work completed and handed
over for the engineer
Cleaning and removing the existing debris and unused materials
from inside and around the buildings, and transporting debris
outside the site as directed by the Engineer.
Backfilling in layers not more than 25cm thick for each layer and
compaction to 98% of MDD. Prices shall includes supply, wetted,
compacted, transporting, tested and anywhere else, needed,

Excavation in sandy soil or any other soil. The price includes
excavation for any un wanted existing soil, organics, etc to any
levels as per engineer instruction and approval drawings.The price
also includes transportation of excavated material to approved
dump area according to supervision engineer’s instructions, and
includes using shutter bracing to the excavation sides.

BACKFILLING
Backfilling by using (Sand) around foundations , walls & any
other element for building to design levels up to the ground floor
slab level and outside yard, which shall be spread in layers not
exceeding 25 cm and compacted (98%) as shown in the drawings
and mentioned in the specifications and according to the engineer's
instructions.

Rates of Concrete Works shall include:1. All form works and shuttering (new lumber for shuttering) in
any form, shape and size . Making chamfered and curved edges,
allowing for and making grooves and sleeves and using Tie Rods
(Batant) for concrete walls ; removal of forms and cleaning of all
exposed tie wires and rods. Steel forms must be used in shuttering
the external decorations.
2. Supplying, Casting, vibrating and curing as per specifications.
3. Approved additives and admixtures.
4. Incurred costs on New Concrete Job Mix Designs, Sampling ,
testing and providing test results certificates, storing and saving of
samples, and preparation of bar bending schedules and workshops.
5. Supplying reinforcement of any grade, size and length as
detailed in the drawings, storing on site including cutting, bending
and fixing in position and providing all tying wires, spacers, shop
drawings, testing and bar bending schedules
6. Painting of exposed surfaces of underground reinforced
concrete elements with two coats of hot bituminous paint (75/25)
after primer layer , the strokes of each layer to be opposite to each
other.
7. Steel bars used for alignment and fixing of reinforcement
works, and extra steel added to assure proper detailing and safety.
8.Preliminary installations for Electrical, plumbing and floor
drainage in floor slabs
9. Compaction and testing under the foundation, ground beams,
and ground slabs, the compaction must exceed 98% of MDD.
10. Cleaning existing steel constructed bars from rust and dirt with
wire brush
11. All works according to specifications , drawings and
supervisor engineer instructions
Prices for all concrete items shall include shuttering, steel
reinforcement, testing for steel reinforcement and concrete,
supply and placing of concrete, Mix Design, vibrating, curing,
striking, polyethylene sheet (for any concrete contact with the
soil), painting for hot bitumen (one coat of primer & min. 2coats of hot bitumen) underground concrete for external
surfaces, workmanship, all ducts, sleeves, opening areas and
the concrete surface shall be finished with mechanical steel
trowel and the price shall include steel trowelling with smooth
face (fair face)and anywhere else, needed, all according to
drawings, specifications, conditions and directed instructions
by the Engineer or his representative.
- The Price for any concrete contact with soil includes laid
polythene sheet 200 micron

Contractor shall take into consideration that all – direct and
indirect works and expenses required for the completion of the
coming items are included in the uint price.
Prices for Excavation item shall include the removal of any
buried structure not to be part of the proposed construction,
including transport of excavated, surplus material and buried
structure (not to be part of the proposed construction) to a
location approved by the engineer or his representative
outside the site, workmanship and any where else, needed, all
according to drawings, specifications, conditions and directed
instructions by the Engineer or his representative.
Quantities of Excavation shall be measured according to the
elements' dimensions mentioned in the drawings
Suitable Clean sand or kurkar soil material should be used
for back-filling selected from the approval excavated soil or
imported.
All works shall be carried out according to specification,
condition, drawing and as directed by the engineer.
The contractor must submit reports for the exisiting activities and
materials on the project site supported with photographs before
work start and take approval to start the work.
Cleaning and leveling around the buildings according to the
accompanied drawings as far as the work completed and handed
over for the engineer
Cleaning and removing the existing debris and unused materials
from inside and around the buildings, and transporting debris
outside the site as directed by the Engineer.
Backfilling in layers not more than 25cm thick for each layer and
compaction to 98% of MDD. Prices shall includes supply, wetted,
compacted, transporting, tested and anywhere else, needed,

Rates of Concrete Works shall include:1. All form works and shuttering (new lumber for shuttering) in
any form, shape and size . Making chamfered and curved edges,
allowing for and making grooves and sleeves and using Tie Rods

exposed tie wires and rods. Steel forms must be used in shuttering
the external decorations.

7. Steel bars used for alignment and fixing of reinforcement
works, and extra steel added to assure proper detailing and safety.
8.Preliminary installations for Electrical, plumbing and floor
drainage in floor slabs
9. Compaction and testing under the foundation, ground beams,
and ground slabs, the compaction must exceed 98% of MDD.
10. Cleaning existing steel constructed bars from rust and dirt with
wire brush

supervisor engineer instructions
Prices for all concrete items shall include shuttering, steel
reinforcement, testing for steel reinforcement and concrete,
supply and placing of concrete, Mix Design, vibrating, curing,
striking, polyethylene sheet (for any concrete contact with the
soil), painting for hot bitumen (one coat of primer & min. 2coats of hot bitumen) underground concrete for external
surfaces, workmanship, all ducts, sleeves, opening areas and
the concrete surface shall be finished with mechanical steel
trowel and the price shall include steel trowelling with smooth
face (fair face)and anywhere else, needed, all according to
drawings, specifications, conditions and directed instructions

The Contractor shall when pricing this Bill take into
consideration, include and allow for costs or expenses of all
requirements stipulated in the section entitled “General and
Preambles” preceding this Bill.
