Canadian Immigration Process ● There are 9 different ways for Pakistanis to immigrate to Canada; the one relevant to our case is the “Federal Skilled Workers” Program. ● The Federal Skilled Workers (FSW) program allows working professionals worldwide to immigrate to Canada. The FSW operates through the Express Entry route. Both processes are interlinked and are entirely points-based and provide Permanent Residence to those applicants who can demonstrate the ability to become economically established in Canada. ● The Federal Skilled Workers (FSW) program is a point-based metric. Points are awarded based on several criterions such as education, work experience, age, language ability, adaptability, and whether you have a valid job offer. An applicant must score 67 points (out of 100) or above under the current points system to meet the threshold for this category. ● In addition to these requirements, successful applicants must show that they have the means to be financially independent after their arrival in Canada. Applicants and their dependents must also undergo medical examinations and security clearances as part of the Canadian immigration application process. ● Express Entry applicants must also have at least one year of continuous full-time, or equivalent part-time, paid work experience in the past ten years in jobs that fall under National Occupation Classification A, B, C, or 0. ● CanadaVisa Link with all the relevant details: https://www.canadavisa.com/canadian-immigration-visas.html ● FSWP details from CanadaVisa + Eligibility for FSWP https://www.canadavisa.com/federal-skilled-worker-program-fswp.html ● Express Entry → Calculate CRS Score to determine eligibility. https://www.canadavisa.com/express-entry.html References - https://www.sunenterprises.ca/how-to-immigrate-to-canada-from-pakistan/ - https://www.sunenterprises.ca/federal-skilled-workers/ - https://www.sunenterprises.ca/express-entry-draw-no-165/
