Company Profile
BHP Billiton is a leading global resources company with a Petroleum Business that includes exploration, development, production and marketing
activities. We have a high-quality resource base concentrated in the United States and Australia. Our core production operations are located in the
US Gulf of Mexico, Australia, Trinidad and Tobago (conventional) and Onshore US (unconventional). We produce crude oil and condensate, gas and
natural gas liquids (NGLs).
Company profile
Established by the Government of Trinidad and Tobago in August 1975, The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (NGC) is an
internationally investment-graded company that is strategically positioned in the midstream of the natural gas value chain. Through its subsidiaries,
NGC has strong linkages in the upstream and downstream sectors of the local natural gas-based energy sector. NGC’s core business is the
purchase, sale, transmission and distribution of natural gas to commercial and industrial users. The Company has equity interest in upstream oil
and natural gas production, NGLs and LNG production and shipping. In the course of its 41 year old history, NGC has invested in over 1,000 km of
pipeline infrastructure, both on land and offshore, and is engaged in its daily maintenance and operations. With an installed capacity of 4.4 Billion
standard cubic feet per day (Bscf/d), NGC is capable of meeting the present and future needs of the gas-based sector.
NGC’s four principal subsidiaries comprise: Phoenix Park Gas Processors Limited (PPGPL); Trinidad and Tobago NGL Limited (TTNGL); NGC CNG
Company Limited (NGC CNG); and, National Energy Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (National Energy). The NGC Group of Companies
measured by assets is one of the largest companies in the Caribbean and Latin America:
˜ŽŽ
In addition to Block 2(c), BHP Billiton Trinidad and Tobago also operates Block 3(a) and Deepwater Blocks TTDAA 3, 5, 6, 7, 14, 28 and 29 and
Blocks 23(a) and 23(b). Following the safe and successful completion of a 3D Marine Seismic Survey during the period March 2014 to February
2015, the company commenced an historic Deepwater Drilling Campaign in Trinidad and Tobago. The company's first deepwater well in Trinidad
and Tobago was spudded on May 21, 2016.
The first value of BHP Billiton's Global Charter is Sustainability: putting health and safety first, being environmentally responsible and supporting
our communities. Throughout the years, the company has implemented over 200 community projects in Trinidad and Tobago, which include: the

Wild about Wetlands with Environment Tobago; First Aid Training with the Trinidad and Tobago Red Cross; Defensive Driving with JARIC; Road

Our R&M business involves purchasing crude oil, refining crude oil in our Refinery, storing and handling crude oil and refined products and
marketing, selling and delivering refined products. Almost all of our own crude oil production and the indigenous crude produced by third-parties
are utilized in our refinery and we import crude from other countries to satisfy the refinery throughput. We supply substantially all of the domestic
market demand for refined products and export the remainder to regional, extra-regional and international markets.

Mathematics among students at all levels of the education system
Safety Bus (in partnership with Chevron) – developed to help raise awareness of safe driving behaviours to the nation’s school children
Fenceline communities – we have conducted socio-economic baseline studies and identified the need to improve educational
opportunities in the surrounding communities of our operations
