Prospect to Study Bachelor in Germany
Public universities in Germany are tuition-free for all students. Germany is a higher education
paradise. Unlike in any other country, in Germany, you will find many worldwide ranked
universities, countless courses to choose from, globally valued degrees that promise high
employability to you, and affordable living costs.
There are very few costs to apply in Germany most likely 15,000 takas if you apply for 4 to 5
universities. From 1 January 2021, the amount required to be deposited into the German
blocked account when applying for a student visa to Germany is €10,332 or 861€ per month for
your planned stay (up to 12 months) which means you need to block almost €10,332 or 10
Lakhs taka which you will get back in 12 months after arriving in Germany on a monthly basis
861€ or almost 80 thousand takas per month. Overall, approximately 12 lakhs taka is needed
for a full process including all and plane fare also for a German student visa where 10 lakhs
taka you will get back in 12 months after arriving in Germany. So you can say only 2 lakhs is the
actual cost for a german student visa.
As a student, you are able to work in Germany alongside their studies, for 120 full days or 240
half days per year or 20 Hours in a Week. And you can work full time during vacation. The
minimum salary for one hour is 10 euros so you can earn 200 euros in a week and a minimum
of 800 euros in a month. There are English-speaking part-time jobs in Germany. But if you
know at least german language A1 it would help you to get a good job.
The costs of food, housing, clothing, and cultural activities are slightly higher than the EU
average. On average, students in Germany spend around 400-600 euros per month on living
costs. Students can travel or make short stays without a visa in other European countries
within the Schengen Area which means with your German visa, you can travel to 26 EU
countries without a visa.
There are two kinds of accommodation you can get in Germany as a student. The economical
option student unions' halls of residence and the private accommodation are more costly
compared to the first option.
Yes. After you have completed your studies you can stay in Germany while you are looking for a
job. You can extend your visa for another 18 months while they search for a job in Germany. As
the law allows international graduates to stay in Germany for an additional 18 months,
specifically for finding work. In Germany, there are lots of possible ways for you to get a Job.
After working in Germany for two years you can apply for Permanent Residence Permit (EU

starts from April but applies in summer semester starts from November.
Check all requirements from the university website
Different universities have different application portals
Check the application portal from the university website
Check if they ask to only upload your documents, you just upload all required
documents to the application portal
If they ask to send documents to the university, you have to send all required documents
by courier
Note down and create a table of your selected university along with application start
and end time and required documents and application portal link
Keep in mind that, the German university system is first come first serve if you apply
first and if your result matches their requirement you'll get a chance first
If you apply late, although your result is good enough, there is a possibility to don't
getting a chance because of the limited number of seats
Maximum universities ask for VPD. If you need VPD to apply to a university, you have to
apply for VPD through Uni-Assist a minimum of 45 days before the deadline
Because Uni-Assist takes 4-6 weeks to give VPD
For VPD Uni-Assist charges you 75 euro for your first application and then 30 euro for
the next applications but direct university applications have no fees
Uni-Assist will evaluate your documents and result after payment so pay as soon as
possible. You can pay to throw any Dual Currency Card from Bangladesh
You have to upload all required documents only one time for every university in the
Uni-Assist document upload section
If you want to apply to a university, carefully check all requirements, if you miss one
you'll not be rejected
Suggest you apply to a minimum of 10 universities
After getting an offer letter you will apply for a visa asap
Check all required documents from German Embassy Dhaka Website, which documents
need to carry with you for visa interview
If any german university asks to send documents to their university in Germany, you
have to do Notary Public or Attestation of your documents and then you send them
So I suggest you do Notary Public or Attestation of all your documents as soon as
possible
If your all documents are 100% okay and if you can answer all questions properly
inshallah you'll get your visa. Visa ratio from Bangladesh is 99%
If you study Engineering related subject in your first year of bachelor's you can apply to
all engineering related subjects in Germany
But you cannot apply to unrelated subjects, if you apply they will reject you
Don't go to any agency, applying in Germany is so easy, agencies are fraud.
