process.

Demonstrate the steps in saving new setting of windows 7
WHAT’S IN
When you use a bootable flash drive to install Windows 7, you have the
option to save the newly configured settings for future use. This is particularly
useful if you intend to reinstall Windows 7 or set up another computer with the
same settings. To save these settings, you would need to adjust the BIOS settings
on your computer to boot from the USB flash drive, proceed with the Windows 7
installation, and select the appropriate settings during the installation process.
Once the installation is complete, you can save the newly configured settings by
accessing the Control Panel, navigating to "System and Security," and then
selecting "System." From there, you can configure the startup and recovery
settings to preserve the changes you made. By following these steps, you can
conveniently save the new settings when installing Windows 7 using a bootable
flash drive, facilitating easier reinstallation or computer setup in the future.
WHAT’S NEW
For installing Windows 7 using a bootable flash drive, it's important to
understand some background information and prerequisites.
1. Boot Order: Boot order refers to the sequence in which a computer
searches for a bootable device from which to load the operating system.
This can include devices such as hard drives, optical drives, USB flash
drives, and network adapters.
2. Bootable Flash Drive: A bootable flash drive is a USB flash drive that
contains a bootable operating system or installation media. In this case,
we are using a bootable flash drive with the Windows 7 installation media.
3. BIOS/UEFI: The Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) or Unified Extensible
Firmware Interface (UEFI) is firmware that controls the basic functions of
a computer. It is responsible for initializing hardware components and
loading the operating system.
4. Boot Sequence: Boot sequence refers to the order in which the computer
boots the devices specified in the boot order. For example, if the boot order
is set to search for a USB flash drive first, then the computer will attempt
to boot from the flash drive before searching for other bootable devices.
Now that we have covered the background information, here are the prerequisites
for arranging boot order and boot sequence for installing Windows 7 using a
bootable flash drive:
1. A bootable USB flash drive with the Windows 7 installation media.
2. A computer that supports booting from USB flash drives.
3. Access to the BIOS/UEFI settings of the computer.
In changing boot order you need to:
1. Find the "Boot Order" section.
2. Open the "Boot Order" menu.
3. Select the "USB" option.
4. Look for the key legend.
5. Determine which key to use to move up the selected option.
6. Move the "USB" option to the top of the list.
In booting from USB you need to:
1. Save your changes and exit the BIOS
2. Restart your computer if necessary.
3. Wait for your USB program's menu to appear.
