In this section, I will review the social media that I have chosen for your business and
produce a document to reflect on the strengths, weaknesses and improvements made
to Heston Fish Bar.
P1 - Planning and recording:
Strengths - I created two social medias for Heston Fish Bar, Twitter and Instagram,
and created a blog so that I could create a website for your business. By setting up a
blog on your social media accounts, it allowed Heston Fish Bar to reach a wider
audience and eventually convert your blog into a website, which will help you promote
your brand. I chose to make your blog using a website called Wordpress. With this
website, I was able to create multiple posts, including blog posts, photos, and videos,
which allowed me to share more information about Heston Fish Bar with potential
customers and followers.
The planning for the use of social media has allowed me to predict the outcome of
what social media can do for Heston Fish Bar, such as increasing the customer base of
Heston Fish Bar and the number of Social Media followers for Heston Fish Bar. The
most effective way to plan for this was to create targets and schedules for Heston Fish
Bar. Targets and schedules allows the shop to aim for something by a set deadline,
and if they haven’t reached the target, then it mean s something would need to be
changed. The Wordpress blog has a clever target, and this clever target would
determine how successful, the blog would be and how effectively it would increase the
number of users visiting the Instagram and Twitter accounts. With the blog, I was also
able to create a newsletter, which allowed me to keep track of our followers and their
engagement with the blog.
Weaknesses - Even tough Social media can have a positive impact on Heston Fish Bar,
it can also have a negative impact. Such as, when planning the social media account
creation and upload schedule, I didn’t account for when users will be the most active
on Instagram and Twitter and I didn’t account for the rival fish shop that was down
the road from Heston Fish Bar. As well as this, the website I used to create the blog
was not as user friendly as some other websites, and this caused the user experience
to be slightly confusing and difficult to navigate.
Since I didn’t account for when the users will be most active, it meant that when we
were posting on Instagram, Twitter and Wordpress, it meant we would not be getting
the maximum number of users at a certain time, meaning the number of people
looking at the Heston Fish Bar pages was not the highest it could be. I also didn't
account for other fish shops, this means that even though people were looking at
Heston Fish Bar, they might have been suggested the other fish shops because of how
similar they are to this fish shop. This can be a problem because it will mean that the
number of people visiting the Heston Fish Bar page will be lower than expected.
Improvements for future reference - If next time I took into account the time at which
users are the most active, then the number of people who engage with the Heston
Fish Bar accounts would increase, meaning the number of people who actually know
about Heston Fish Bar will increase and more customers and more income for Heston
Fish Bar. I can also improve the website and make it more user friendly, which will
mean that users will have a much better experience when on the website, and this will
mean that they will be more likely to come back to the website. I can also research
the rival fish shop, which will allow me to create a strategy to draw customers away
from the rival shop and to Heston Fish Bar. I can also track the success of the social
media accounts and the website, which will allow me to see how successful they are
and if they need to be changed in any way.
P2 - Reviewing and responding to outcomes
I reviewed and responded to outcomes by using feedback from customers and social
media followers to assess the quality and suitability of the features against the
business requirements. Through this process, I was able to identify the strengths of
my work, such as the ease of navigation and the attractive design. Customers found
the website easy to navigate and the overall design was aesthetically pleasing, which
provided a positive experience. When navigating through the social medias, the posts
and descriptions for the post were very appealing to future customers of Heston Fish
Bar. This meant more people suggested the page to friends and family and the
engagement on the social media and website for Heston Fish Bar increased
significantly.
However, I also found some weaknesses, such as the lack of customer reviews and
the lack of customer engagement. While customers were able to easily navigate the
website, there were not enough customer reviews for them to get a good
understanding of the business. Additionally, the lack of customer engagement meant
that customers were not as likely to return to the website. The number of people who
looked at the social media pages increased, however, the number of people who
interacted with the posts, such as liking and commenting, didn’t increase. This means
that the number of people who actually know about Heston Fish Bar, has not
significantly increased because people are not spending enough time on the pages for
Heston Fish Bar to actually benefit from.
To improve these weaknesses, I implemented improvements such as adding customer
reviews and increasing social media engagement. This allowed customers to get a
better understanding of the business, as well as increased the likelihood of them
returning to the website. I also made the website and social media pages more
welcoming, such as linking in the social media’s description’s that directed them to the
Wordpress blog, this will allow future customers to get a better understanding of what
Heston Fish Bar exactly is and why people should buy from Heston Fish Bar.
Additionally, I worked to increase customer engagement by posting more frequently
and promoting the website on other social media platforms. This allowed more people
to become aware of Heston Fish Bar and resulted in an increase in customer
engagement.
In the future, I will continue to use customer and social media feedback to ensure that
my work meets the business requirements and provides the best possible experience
for customers. I plan to focus on increasing customer reviews and engagement in
order to provide customers with a better understanding of the business and to ensure
that they are more likely to return to the website. Additionally, I plan to continue to
promote the website on other social media platforms to ensure that more people are
aware of Heston Fish Bar. Finally, I will continue to assess the features of the website
to ensure that it is up to date with the latest trends and technologies.
P3 - Self reflection
I demonstrated my own behaviours and their impact on outcomes by displaying
professionalism, etiquette, and supporting others throughout the task. I showed
professionalism by being honest and open in my communication with Heston Fish Bar,
and by following through with the tasks I was given in a timely and efficient manner. I
also upheld etiquette by being respectful and mindful of their time when
communicating, as well as being courteous in my conversations. Additionally, I was
supportive of others by giving constructive feedback and encouraging words to my
colleagues in order to help them to complete their tasks successfully. I also showed
timely and appropriate leadership by taking initiative and providing guidance to my
colleagues when needed. Finally, I held myself accountable and took individual
responsibility for my actions and their outcomes.
The strengths of my behaviours were that I was able to build a positive relationship
with Heston Fish Bar, as well as with my colleagues. This allowed us to work together
effectively and efficiently. Additionally, I was able to provide effective feedback and
guidance to my colleagues that enabled them to accomplish their tasks.
The weaknesses of my behaviours were that I could have been more organised in my
communication with Heston Fish Bar by preparing a more structured timeline for our
tasks. Additionally, I could have been more proactive in providing feedback and
guidance to my colleagues by offering more in-depth advice on how to complete their
tasks.
To improve my behaviours for future tasks, I will need to be more organised in my

P4 - Meeting requirements and desired outcomes
My approach to meeting the outcomes of Heston Fish Bar was to create an engaging
presence on social media and provide evidence of this presence. I used relevant
content to target their audience and increase their followers and engagement rate.
Additionally, I monitored the success of each post to ensure it was achieving the
desired results.
The strengths of my approach were that I was able to increase the reach of Heston
Fish Bar's social media presence, as well as their engagement rate. This allowed them
to reach and engage more potential customers. I was also able to track the success of
each post and use the data to inform future strategies.
The weaknesses of my approach were that I did not have a comprehensive plan for
managing their social media presence, which could have resulted in an inconsistent
presence. Additionally, I did not engage with customers in the comments section,
which could have further increased engagement.

the data to inform future strategies, as this will help to ensure that the efforts are
resulting in the desired outcomes.
ConclusionI've finished implementing your social media initiatives. I have produced a draught

which demonstrate how to employ smart targets, time limits, success monitoring,
social media implementation, and making use of in the social media plans. I have
