Cherry is the only child of one of the richest business enthusiasts in the country. She studies in one of
the most prestigious school in the Philippines. Since her parents are both business enthusiasts she only
has her nanny around her. She always gets what she wants except for the attention and time of her
parents. She is a school bully. She’s famous and feared by her fellow students. She used to make fun of
the weaknesses of her school mates especially those nerdy outcasts. She has her friends, bully friends
rather who are always around her in school.
On January 28 one week before her 18th birthday while she was in school, she was hunted by one of her
bully victim. The guy named Glenn was chasing her furiously while holding a gun. She ran so fast
towards the school library. There she found a perfect spot to hide- inside the closet. She was crying. She
tried to calm herself while listening to the footstep near her. She didn’t dare to step out. She was so
scared that she didn’t notice she fell asleep. She got awake by a loud music and yelling coming outside
the closet. When she opened the closets’ door she found herself in the school canteen. She felt
indifferent because nobody looks scared of her presence. She went outside and saw friends. As she
approached them she got so shocked when they made fun of her and insulted her. They told her that
they were not friends anymore since she became poor. She asked them what’s going on. But one of her
classmates called her name and told her that they still have to clean the library before going home. She
was confused. She hurriedly ran back to their house. But the guard didn’t recognize her and sent her
outside. Her mom fetched her after Cherry called her. She was still confused when she saw her mom in a
rugged dress became a little old and white hair. Her mom brought her in a small house in a crowded
village. She asked her if what they were doing there and where is her dad? Her mom told her that she
knew Cherry was still traumatized about what happened to their lives three years ago. She found out
that three years ago her father died after saving her when she was being chased by a gun man in her
school. Since then her mother got depressed and their businesses started to shut down. She cried so
much when she saw the calendar. Where she was at that moment was three years ahead from the year
where she came from. She found out that she was in the future. She saw her mother sufferings just to
earn money like accepting a laundry job from her old friends. Next morning as she went to school one of
her old friends slammed her at the door of the comfort room. She fell down and felt so humiliated
because when she tried to get up those bully victim of her were there laughing and mocking her.
Trashes were thrown on her face until she blacked out. When she woke up she saw her mom in her
room holding a small portable table trying to give her breakfast in bed. She hugged her tightly and when
her dad saw them he joined them.
She was crying and thankful that it indeed it was just a bad dream. Her parents ask her if what she
wanted for her birthday next week. For the first time she didn’t asked for any material thing. She just
asked them to be with her on her birthday and have a simple celebration together. She went to school
that day in a positive vibes. But as she entered the school a de juvu was happening. The worst thing she
noticed was everything in her dream last night was happening. She panicked and got so afraid. Ran out
of the campus but when she stepped out Glenn was approaching towards her. Fierce looks and there
was something in his hand, a gun. She ran as fast as she could and Glenn chased her. Everything in her
dream flashed back as it was exactly happening to her at that moment. But she tried to think critically.
When she was about to enter the library she decided not to. She said to herself that wouldn’t let that
happen anymore. She decided to face the consequences of her bad deeds. She decided to face her fears.
She promised herself not to lose her dad and not to let her mom to suffer like that. She turned around
and faced Glenn. She tried to calm him. He was crying. Glenn was her school mate from a very poor
family who got a scholarship from their school program. But because of Cherry he lost that scholarship
and got so depressed. She cursed her and pointed a gun to her. Cherry kneeled down to him and
wholeheartedly crying to asked for his forgiveness. At that moment they were surrounded by their
fellow students. Glenn was so emotional and cannot even recognize people even his mom. Cherry’s dad
arrived in the scene which worried Cherry so much. He tried to talk to Glenn but Glenn pointed a gun on
him. He said that Cherry must lost her dad too like what happened to his dad because of so much
suffering at work just to earn money to save his studies after Glenn lost his scholarship. When Glenn was
about to shoot Cherry’s dad, Cherry ran to receive the bullet and save his dad. Everything went black.
The next she woke up in the hospital bed she tightly hugged her parents when she saw them. When
Cherry found out that Glenn was arrested by the police she asked her parents to see him. She asked for
his forgiveness for the second time and Glenn forgave her. Glenn was discharge after Cherry and her
parents decided to forgive him too. Glenn got back his scholarship. Cherry started to change for better
and make a difference to people’s live in a positive way.
