The Griffin
Golf
Course is a
Seaton
Bailey
designed
course.
Opening in 1932, the golf course has
provided affordable recreation in a beautiful
and relaxed setting to the citizens of Griffin
and surrounding areas. A 6,430 yard layout
with rolling fairways and manicured greens
highlight this 18-hole par 72 course that is
located in the heart of the Griffin.
Our new fleet of 60 golf carts can easily
accommodate golf tournaments, group
outings, and events. For your convenience,
the golf shop is a one stop shop. We offer
golf apparel, headwear, gloves, balls,
snacks and drinks. You will also find
numerous water stations set up throughout
the course.
May 2012, New Champion Bermuda Greens
were installed. A revitalization project was
initiated to improve all aspects of the golf
facilities. The project was completed and the
new clubhouse opened in the summer of
1998. A course rating of 70.10 and a slope
of 119 from the men’s tees, makes this
course a pleasure for golfers of all skill
levels. We offer 4 sets of tees ranging from
6500 yards to 5600 yards. Come experience
one of Georgia’s favorite public golf courses
with the fastest greens in middle Georgia.
