RULES:
Topic: "Freedom of Speech and Expression In the
Age of Internet: A Critical Analysis".
The team comprises of two participants. Students
from same College/Institute/University can
participate as a team. Two teams from one College
/ Institute/University can participate in the
competition. Basis
of preference is first come first basis.
Students interested in participation shall carry
their Identity Cards of their
College/Institute/University.
Marks may be awarded as per the following criteria
out of the marks allocated against each category
i.e., Contents /Substance (25 Marks), Oratory Skills
(25 Marks), Presentation Skills (20 Marks) Clarity Of
Thought (20 Marks) Confidence (10 Marks). Each
participant will be given maximum 10 minutes'
time to speak either in favour or against the
subject.
A warning bell will be given after 8 minutes and a
final bell after 10 minutes.
If the participants exceed the allocated time than
the marks will be deducted at the discretion of the
judges.
