CSCA, PHRI) GM/CEO, Enugu State Tech Hub Summary My name is Mr. Chidubem Anowor, and by the grace of the almighty God, I am the General Manager/Chief Executive Officer of the Enugu State Tech Hub. I have spent over 17 years handling projects across multi-industries practices in technology, Tele communications, banking, Fast Moving Consumable goods, Pharmaceuticals, and Consulting spheres. In my quest to quench a shadow that begun haunting me recently, I spent the last 7 years realigning my affinity and competence into the tech and innovation space, looking for ways to share my experiences and help young adults seeking to migrate to Tech, because I understood better than anyone how difficult, scary, and discouraging it is to not get it right the first time. After going back and forth along my career path, volunteering, participating, and even sponsoring various programs, I can truly say that I have found my give back space in this Job role. My background in Project and Portfolio Management plus my newly found passion in Tech, continued to draw me closer to a waiting and hibernating Tech Eco-system up until, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi gave me the opportunity to lead this youth Infusion and innovation campaign as the GM/Chief Executive Enugu State Tech Hub, where together with an amazing team of disrupting thinking interns we birthed Innovative Tech Programs like Grassroot Infusion Program In September 2021, where 200 Youth we upskilled in Multimedia applications Tech Skills, Blow-your-mind- Software Infusion Program of November 2021, a three(3) month long program, in partnership with Microsoft and Tech4Dev, that saw the upskilling of 600 youth in Product Design and Data Science Volunteer-To- Tech Program, and for this year 2022, Digi-Marketize Infusion Program, Migrate-To-Tech Program, and now, the ADA software Engineering Program. One thing stood out distinctly over the last 6 months of my resumption as GM: The Women in Tech ration for every event that I attended, co-sponsored, participated as guest, or ran as a Tech Hub, was almost always about 10:1. So in our designing our road map for 2021, We became deliberate about two things: First was to refocus on incubating Tech startups through a systematic upskill and unlock innovation potentials, thereby compelling the talents to start building innovations, and secondly, Upscale the women in Tech.
