1) Conceptual: Price planning P.5
2) Objectives: After this lesson, students should be able
1) to explain and discuss about the pricing strategies.
2) to analyze pricing strategies, and design a pricing strategy for a product
of their choice.
3) Students will analyze the price of an advertising marketing product.
4) Students will learn how to develop the skills of teamwork, leadership
and problem solving.
5) To research and gather information and ideas related to the branding,
to find diverse ways from listening, watching, or reading information
about the products. (S)
3) Content: Find and answering questions about ‘Price Planning’.
4) Assignment/homework: Students should complete and give more examples of the
pricing strategy for their start-up.
5) Skills (Integration): Reading and Writing, Speaking & Investigating Skills.
6) Learning activities
Warm up:
Review previous lesson and establishing a purpose for the lesson.
Presentation: Explain meaning of the pricing by using pictures and mind maps for
P.5 students.
Practice:
Ask students to create a product price by using handout for Pricing
Strategies.
Production:
Discussing new concepts and practicing new skills.
Homework:
Students should complete and give more examples of the pricing
strategy for their start-up as homework.
7) Source/material: PBL P.5 textbook, whiteboard, test.
8) Lesson Assessment and Evaluation:
Methods of evaluation: Making sure that all the students participated.
Methods of evaluation tools: Written answers, class participation and homework.
Methods of evaluation criteria: The teacher will check the work of each individual
student, correcting English mistakes and helping the students improve and learn.
