Human rights are a set of rights given to every human being regardless of their gender, caste, creed, religion, nation, location or economic status. These are said to be moral principles that illustrate certain standards of human behavior. Protected by law, these rights are applicable everywhere and at any time. Why is human rights necessary in achieving peace? Human rights are the foundation of freedom, justice and peace. Their respect allows the individual and the community to fully develop. The development of human rights has its in the struggle for freedom and equality everywhere in the world. How does the war system contribute to the probable violation of human rights? In recent decades, armed conflict has blighted the lives of millions of civilians. Serious violations of international humanitarian and human rights law are common in many armed conflicts. In certain circumstances, some of these violations may even constitute genocide, war crimes or crimes against humanity.
