Step 2 - Open MetaTrader - File > Open Data Folder. Risk Calculator.app 2 Step 3 - MQL4 or MQL5 > Experts. Step 4 - Drag in the Risk Calculator file. Step 5 - Close down and re open MetaTrader and RiskCalculator will appear under EA. Risk Calculator.app 3 Step 6 - Drag in EA into charts - this message will appear - Check “Allow DDL imports” and “Allow live trading” - Then click OK. Step 6 (FOR MT5 ONLY) - Tools > Options > > Expert Advisors tab > Copy the settings below Risk Calculator.app 4 Step 7 - Login to your riskcalculator.app dashboard and click “Metatrader Terminal Links” Step 8 - Enter your MetaTrader terminal number here. This will activate your licence for Risk Calculator to work. Risk Calculator.app 5 How to find your MetaTrader Terminal Number Top left of your MT terminal OR under “Accounts” Step 9 - Press AutoTrading OR Algo Trading in the toolbar so that it turns green Risk Calculator.app 6 IMPORTANT STEP Step 10 - The Process when using Risk Calculator Drag in the Risk Calculator fresh every time you load your charts. Close Risk Calculator before closing MT4 DO NOT attach the Risk Calculator to the chart template - It needs to be freshly added to the charts every time. As Risk Calculator is using live data e.g your account balance / live fx figures it needs a fresh data feed on startup. The process is: Open MT4/5 > Open the charts > Drag in Risk Calculator. Once finished trading close the Risk Calculator off the charts > Close MT4.
