Networking Events:
1) Marketing Mixers: Multiple events to be conducted throughout the year with individuals from the
industry and the club coming together to exchange ideas and knowledge. The event will consist of
smaller highlights such as ice breaker sessions, Creative space and networking zones.
2) Networking Scavenger Hunt: Participants are forced to pair up with members of the club that possess
certain qualities or come from a certain background or experience to solve an extensive treasure hunt.
This encourages purposeful interaction.
3) Mentorship Program: Having industry specialists/alums mentor existing club members, train them for
case comps, interviews and what to expect in different job roles.
4) Career Fair: A career fair for students to meet representatives from various marketing organisations,
agencies and companies. These will include the large corporate and start up organisations.
Guest Lectures and Workshops:
1) Guests who made the switch: Invite alums/ guest speakers who have made the switch into marketing side
industry from other industries and learn the path they took.
2) Interactive Story telling workshop: Invite a professional to take a story telling workshop for participants.
This helps them learn techniques of story telling, practice crafting compelling narratives and explore
how enhance brand communication.
3) Mock Case Study Competitions: Pair up different groups each time for an interactive learning for mock
marketing case study competitions. This will prepare students for the real competitive ones.
4) Influencer Marketing Workshop: Understand the digital side of the new growing marketing world, also
to spark up interest amongst participants.
Events leading up to the Marquee Event:
1) Marketing Quiz: a Quiz week on different aspects of marketing such as branding, marketing jargons,
advertising taglines, social media marketing. Winners will compete in the main Marquee Event.
2) Treasure Hunt: Treasure hunt involving different activities such as product placement puzzle, marketing
terminologies, brand logo hunt to induce networking and build on-spot thinking skills.
3) ISB Bazaar: A market place for existing and aspirational entrepreneurs of the cohort who will be
assigned a set marketing team from the club. The team will help the participant with marketing,
segmenting and targeting in turn also learn how products work in the real world.
4) Marketing Flubs: Event with various rooms, each room representing different aspects of the marketing
sector. Participants can gain knowledge via games and other experiences.
