Subject: FLUCTUATION OF ELECTRICITY IN YOUR LOCALITY Respected Sir, Kindly allow me to highlight a dire problem through the column of your esteemed newspaper for immediate attention and solution of the problem. Considering the direness and essentiality of the problem an early solution must be found to it. Kindly publish my submission so that best solution could be found. It is hidden to none that electricity is one of the fundamentals of our daily life. Lahore, the second largest city of Pakistan, is without a doubt is economic hub of Punjab. According to very recent census the population of Lahore is 11.5M. And majority of citizen live in blighted areas where there is lack of sufficient food, dearth of water resources, hygiene of people are affecting day by day due to lack of sanitation processes. Moreover, if we take a look on systems of education, there is also a deep fall in that. And this then happens to the biggest dilemma of the society in which the coming modern man cannot survive at all, at any rate. The thing particularly I am going to mention, which is the main cause of irritation and disruption for not only me but all the people of my whereabouts, is that the area in which I basically used to live, there new cry has been started because of the fluctuation of electricity for last three months. And that proportion is of near Ferozpur road. That community is generally located near open sewage channels. In addition to this, the wind blow with very great pressure and that serious intensity of air is the cause of falling and loosening up of the wires attached to the electricity poles. When this situation occurs our light bulbs start fluctuates so that we have to switch off all the lights of the house quickly. Breakdowns cause a great difficulty. All the time the voltage is so low that restlessness and aggression type of psychological diseases are being born that is absolutely not good. Furthermore, the students are unable to study, they are at exceptional loss. Due to countless variations, our home appliances for instance refrigerator, oven, iron, washing machine, straightener etc. are at big risk. Food gets stale when refrigerator do not work. On account of this a lot of fluctuations damage the internal circuits of these domestic tools. And you are well known that these things are very much expensive which cannot be purchased for the next time. Most importantly, shopkeepers of our locality are compelled to close their shops early and the basic requirements and necessities of day to day cannot be purchased in the caliginosity. The houses also remain in the dead of dark that it becomes quite awkward to go out at night because there is nothing to see. Now all this is filling us with endurance. We had already made complain last month and we were told that the fault of delicate wires due to heavy storm would be overcome within a week. But nothing has done so far. Everyone got fed up by this rubbish. The exasperation of my children and continuous infuriation of the people surrounding my residence forced me to take an action against this nonsense attitude. The frequent breakdown is causing great inconvenience for the mankind.
