1. What excites you about working at Microsoft?
The foremost thing that excites me is that Microsoft values it’s employees. The way
they treat the people working there is amazing. I still remember Microsoft providing
its interns food to eat during the pandemic (some of my friends are doing an intern
at Microsoft), which was such a beautiful gesture to value your employees. Moreover,
working at Microsoft, you mainly work will the elite people of the world, who are
actually smart which helps you learn more from them.
2. What opportunities do you see at Microsoft to
utilize your knowledge and skills?
To answer this question, I want to let you guys firstly know what I know, I just
completed my 24 weeks internship at American Express where I learnt about
distributive platforms like Spark and Hadoop. Also, I understood the databases like
DB2 and Oracle. Moreover, in my college, I was mainly focused towards Data
Structures and Algorithms, improving my coding skills and trying to optimize the
code I am writing.
So all these skills of coding and big data are definitely used in Microsoft. And I hope
to get an internship or an full time offer to get a chance to work with people at
Microsoft.

3. What impressions did the Microsoft interns in
the video give you about the culture at
Microsoft?
I’ve actually visited the Microsoft campus once in Bangalore, the way people were
working there was just amazing. I still remember that the work environment was so
good that it seemed like they’re just having fun. The different games and the quality
of food that was available in the pantry was amazing. After watching this video
actually all that was flashing in front of my eyes! Such an amazing interior and such
friendly people working under one roof was literally a blessing to watch.
