Richard Wade Jr. (Vote of Thanks) A warm and pleasant goodnight to our most honorable guest speaker, dignitaries, valuable teacher, beloved parents, lovely classmates and each and everyone present here tonight. First of all, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Almighty God for making today’s graduation a resounding success. With his blessings and grace we were able to make this graduation what is was. A special thank you to our principal Tr. Clint Forman, Vice Principal Tr. Mally Burgess, and Tr. Betty Aldana for their wonderful leadership in managing our prestigious school; to our standard six teachers: Tr. Lisabeth Cabral who is also my homeroom, for sharing her Language arts and Belizean Studies knowledge and Tr. Marvel Berry for giving us all his scientific expertise and sharing his mathematics skills with us. Thank you for being patient and supportive with me when I showed up to class late or had to stay in class during lunch while I was going through a difficult time in recovering from my broken leg. Thanks to all teachers who have impacted our lives one way or the other. Nuff thanks to my friends for carrying my bag to school when I had my crutches. I would also like to show my immense gratitude to my mother Florence, my father, Richard Sr., and my sister for paving the way and supporting me in all I do. Special thanks to my grandparents and other family members, I couldn’t have reached this chapter of my life without you all. I would also like to give a huge thank you to the coordinators of this graduation ceremony Tr. Susie Simpson and Tr. Zerrick Torres. Also our musician Mr. Joel Simpson; a warm thank you also goes out to our esteemed guest speaker As we depart from here tonight to bigger dreams and higher goals, we will always look back and remember the moments we shared together, we will hold them deep within our hearts. How lucky we are to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard. Thank you.
