Education 4.0: Schools, Teachers, and Students - Are you Ready? The term "education 4.0" refers to a method of teaching and learning that incorporates technology. The method, according to PhilStar Global, is said to challenge our traditional concepts about education, teaching, and learning. The world is changing, and learners are changing along with it. A new generation of learners emerges, and they are called "Generation Z" or "the Internet Generation (IGen)". These are the students who rely on technology to learn. Since they were raised in a technologically advanced society, they are unable to live without it. The education system needs to be modified in light of the changes in our world and the people who live in it. Consequently, the Internet Revolution (IR), also known as education 4.0, was promoted in every school or institution. Digital technology is used in this technique, including computers, televisions, mobile phones, projectors, and other devices. Although, the goal of Education 4.0 is excellent, there are still questions. Are we ready? Even during COVID 19, education was affected and so the education system needs to be modified. Thus, the Department of Education decided to switch to distance learning, either online or modular. However, not all the learners and teachers are prepared. Neither of them has the necessary tools to execute the said development. First, not all learners have gadgets to use for online classes, especially learners from public schools. Secondly, not all school either public or private are equipped with the essential technology such as computer, printers, laptop etc. Lastly, some of the teachers does not know to use technology, applications and other learning platforms. Incorporating technology with education is a good project, since we are now under the 21 century where learners and called “Tech Savvy”. Nevertheless, developers need to consider and socio economic status of the learners and the teachers, together with the budget and capacity of the school. st
