THREAT OF NEW ENTRANTS

While the barrier of entry is not very
high, their have been very few entrants
in this space over the past two decades,
most of them being proprietary licensing
softwares. These entrants, while being
powerful for larger operations, have
failed to cater to day-new labels and
small businesses, mostly because of
failed networks.
THREAT OF SUBSTITUTES
LOW
The only substitutes to software-aided
inventory management are manual work
and aggregators. Either log each product
inflow and outflow in an old dusty
register, or have 3 different aggregators
managing each moving part of your
company (logistics, customer
management, inventory). Both of these
substitutes have either proved to be
inefficient or un-economical.
RIVALRY & COMPETITION
LOW
There has not much competition in the space, and has
mostly been a very monopolised market, with
proprietary licensing softwares sitting at the helm of all.
But with growing digitalisation and Gen-Z entrants into
small businesses, it threatens to topple the rigid, built
for scale solutions of these firms. The growing need of
navigable mobile applications, and the lack of integrated
all-in-one solutions helps PROLO's solo cause, making
management 3x easier.

aforementioned suppliers are, Logistic
companies, which are available at large
- most of them ready to drive down
costs for scale, and Hosting Providers,

the growing move towards
decentralised hosting only saturating
the prices further.

While PROLO thrives to be the most affordable
solution, we understand that the customer
does not want to trade for quality.
PROLO has been built to produce much more
value per rupee our service users spend, at
1/5th the cost of our closest competitors.

plethora of logistic partner APIs, allowing them
to practically cut and grow their margin at
