Republic of the Philippines Department of Education Region VII, Central Visayas Division of City of Naga, Cebu JAGUIMIT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Jaguimit , City of Naga, Cebu Accomplishment Report on School Based-Feeding Program for SY 2021-2022 School-Based Feeding Program maintains its commitment to provide good nutrition to learners amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic. As such it continue the implementation of the SBFP for SY 2021-2022 last November 9, 2021 and ends last December 13, 2021, to address hunger & encourage learners to enroll, contribute to the improvement of their nutritional status, provide nourishment for their growth and development, to help boost their immune system, and enhance and improve their health and nutrition values. In consideration of the changes brought about by the pandemic, the implementation of the School-Based Feeding Program has been modified, putting utmost importance to the welfare, safety and health of our learners and teachers involved, while also ensuring the attainment of the program objectives and in strict compliance with the required health standards. Our SBFP’s primary beneficiaries are all severely wasted & wasted, severely stunted & stunted learners. However, due to the pandemic SBFP beneficiaries for SY 2021-2022 the primary beneficiaries were wasted & severely wasted based on the 2019-2020 SBFP report, except those who were moved to Grade 7and all Kindergarten learners. The program provide beneficiaries with Nutritious Food Products composed of fortified bread, fresh milk, and fruits. We have a total of 91 SBFP beneficiaries from Kinder to Grade 6. The mode of distribution was thru school. Distribution schedule was every Tuesday and Friday from 9-11 in the morning. Nutritious Food Products not claimed at school are distributed house to house by the Feeding Coordinator. One of our Feeding Coordinator was able to share her ideas for the betterment of the feeding implementation in this time of pandemic was the creation of “MGA GIYA ALANG SA MGA GINIKANAN PARA SA ATONG SBFP MILK-FEEDING PROGRAM COMPONENT UG SBFP FOR THE REGULAR COMPONENT PARA SA NEW NORMAL” It was a guide for parents translated in our mother tongue for them to fully understand the new normal feeding program. We have completed the 28 days SBFP Milk Component S.Y.2021-2022,with 91 beneficiaries. The Milk Feeding Program was successfully implemented,with the guidance of our School Head and the City of Naga Division Health personnel. Prepared by: JORIES D.
