Use a verb and a preposition in a sentence. A Preposition is a word used to Preposition link nouns, pronouns, or phrases to other words within a sentence. They act to connect the people, object, time and locations in a sentence. Prepositions are usually short words, and they are normally placed directly in front of nouns or verbs. In, of, to, at, by, For example: for, with, under, above, into, upon, behind, from, against, between There are three types of Prepositions: Prepositions for Time Types of Prepositions e.g.’in evening, in morning, at 3 pm, at bedtime’ Prepositions for Place e.g. ‘in a hall, on the table, at the bus station’ Prepositions of Direction e.g. ‘into, to, through, towards’ Verbs are the action words in a sentence that Verbs describe what the subject is doing. Along with nouns, verbs are the main parts of a sentence or phrase, telling a story about what is taking place. Actually, a verb can be a sentence by itself, with the subject, in most cases you implied, such as, ‘Sing!’and ‘Drive!’ Examples: Mark eats his dinner quickly. We went to the market.
