CHARACTERISTICS:
STARLINGS ARE SMALL BIRDS THAT CAN FLY UP TO 48
MILES/HOUR. THEY ARE BLACK, WITH PURPLE AND GREEN
UNDERTONES AND THEY HAVE A YELLOW BEAK.
LAST SEEN:
STARLING ARE ORIGINALLY FROM EUROPE AND IN PARTS OF ASIA
AND AFRICA.

CRIMES COMMITTED:
STARLINGS COMPETE NATIVE BIRDS FOR THEIR NESTS. IN
ADDITION, THE AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY $800 MILLION PER YEAR
AT $5 PER HECTARE. STARLINGS CAN CARRY VARIOUS DISEASES
WHICH CAN AFFECT EFFECT HUMANS, INCLUDING RESPIRATORY
DISEASES.
REWARD:
IF THERE ARE NO MORE STARLINGS IN THE US, CROPS WILL
FLOURISH WHICH WILL HAVE AN OVERALL POSITIVE IMPACT ON
THE ECONOMY, BECAUSE THE AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY WOULD BE
ABLE TO PRODUCE MORE YIELD. NATIVE SPECIES WOULD NOT HAVE
